Our Story
Launched in 2014 by entrepreneur Craig Moore with the support of Rick Pudner, former Group CEO of Emirates NBD, Beehive is the largest peer-to-peer lending platform in the GCC. Peer-to-peer (P2P) lending is based on crowdfunding principles, connecting a business with a crowd of many investors to eliminate the cost and complexity of conventional finance. The result is a more efficient, streamlined process that gives businesses faster access to lower-cost finance and investors better returns on their money.
Beehive has rapidly grown into a leading disruptor in the fintech industry, providing an alternative finance solution for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). In May 2023, e& acquired a majority stake in Beehive, presenting a huge opportunity to increase and accelerate SME financing and innovation. Beehive currently has a team of 70+ professionals based across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman. The team is a group of tenacious, passionate and driven individuals who possess a wealth of experience in financial markets and innovation, both in the GCC and internationally. We are excited to enter our next stage of growth and expand our team to help fulfil our business goals.

Our Culture
Beehive is an in-person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for most days during the week. We have WFH policies in place that enable employees to stay productive while exercising flexibility. We find that this setup works best for our way of working.
