Your mission
Strengthen Beehive's credit infrastructure through expert risk analysis, model management, and sound credit decision-making. You'll play a key role in refining our proprietary credit model and supporting high-quality lending decisions for SMEs.
What this role involves
You'll bring a deep understanding of credit processes, SME risk trends, regulatory compliance, and data-driven decision-making. Your analytical skills and initiative will drive continuous improvement in our credit assessment framework, so that every evaluation is timely, ethical, and reliable.
The details
- Location: Muscat office (on-site)
- Reports to: Credit Manager
- Start date: November 2026
- Interview process: Two rounds, about 2–3 hours in total, completed within one week
Day to day, you will:
- Own credit assessments end to end, from data analysis through report preparation to final recommendations.
- Deliver accurate, compliant, and timely assessments that support the business's lending strategy.
- Refine Beehive's proprietary credit model using internal performance data and external market conditions.
- Run stress tests to measure how the model holds up across different economic scenarios and SME-specific risks.
- Spot credit issues early and design scalable solutions to address them.
- Review credit processes and performance regularly, identify improvements, and implement them independently.
- Present clear, structured credit analysis to stakeholders across the business.
- Seek out and give feedback to raise individual and team performance.
- Uphold confidentiality and high ethical standards in all credit evaluation and data handling.
This might be you if you:
- Have experience in credit risk, credit modeling, or a similar role in financial services or fintech.
- Have advanced analytical and credit modeling skills.
- Understand credit regulations, risk metrics, and stress testing methods.
- Work independently, prioritize well, and take initiative without waiting for direction.
- Are detail-oriented and proactive about improving processes.
- Stay effective under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
